The great Ranee Lee is back at PAPJAZZ

This big Canadian artist has many strings to her bow. Aside from being one of the most respected jazz singers in Canada, she also plays the saxophone the drums, is a composer, actress, TV host, professor and even writes children’s books. Ranee Lee has recorded 12 albums with Justin Time Records, a wonderful discography for which she collaborated with big names such as Clark Terry, Bill Mayes, Herb Ellis, Red Mitchell, Milt Hinton or even Oliver Jones. During her career Ranee Lee has received 1 Juno Award and many nominations, Her latest album What’s What’s Going On being an inspiring and moving collection of innovative, classic and surprising compositions. Canada, honorary country of this 14th edition will be proudly represented by Ranee Lee.
