Singer and author, Barbra Lica is a rising star on the Canadian jazz scene. She was nominated for a JUNO Award in 2017 for the “vocal jazz album of the year” for the song I’m still learning. She released her first album in 2012 which was # 1 on iTunes Canada in the jazz category. For CBC Radio, Barbra Lica is in the top 5 best jazz singers in Canada. “I would describe her as the Canadian Stacey Kent. Lica smiles when she sings. You can hear it.
