Akoustik (Haiti)

Akoustik has come a long way since its performance at the PAPJAZZ 9^th edition. Founded in 2014, they have earned a place in the hearts of its fans through their eclectic repertoire, which includes styles ranging from Jazz to Rock through Konpa and traditional music. Critics describe the band’s style as refreshing that combines different trends. Akoustik tours all over Haiti, performs occasionally in Florida and New York and has shared the stage with major international artists such as Collie Budz, Machel Montano, Allison Hinds, Admiral T and Ayo. The band has privileged to have been noticed, recognized and even collaborated with Haitian music legends such as Joël Widmaier, Fabrice Rouzier, Kéké Belizaire or Bélo who have all testified of the band’s many qualities.
