Festival International de Jazz de Port-au-Prince
The PAPJAZZ is a non-profit event that has taken place every January since 2007 in Port-au-Prince.
It offers an unprecedented cultural gathering to both local and international audiences and stands as one of the best examples of a successful partnership between the international community, the public sector, the private sector and the civil society.
Each year, nearly a hundred musicians from all over the world take part in this jazz festival, coming from Africa, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean, Chile, the United States, France, Mexico, Panama, Spain, Switzerland, and, of course, Haiti and its diaspora.
The Fondation, in coordination with its organizing committee (comprising embassies, ministries, and civil society representatives), is responsible for the partnerships, logistics of the artists, programming, venue booking and setup, technical production, marketing, communication, and event security.
As a true space for social cohesion, the PAPJAZZ is a non-profit festival that showcases jazz in all its forms and colors, attracting a diverse audience from all walks of life, ranging from 20 to 65+ years old.

Since 2007, in mid January every year, the Haiti Jazz Foundation hosts the Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival.

The Haiti Jazz Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in March 2007 in order to:
- Promote musical activities around country, especially through the annual Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival,
- Provide access to continuing professional music education in Haiti,
- Preserve Haiti’s musical heritage,
- Serve as a platform for the diffusion, evolution, and promotion of kreyòl jazz in Haiti and abroad
