Shelo Pleb Muzik (Haiti)

Shélo Pleb Muzik is a slammer / rapper. Influenced by rap music, he stood out at the age of 16 at inter-neighborhood events and recreation days organized by his school. His talent comes mainly from literary clubs organized by groups of young people. His meeting with Dessein Valckensy dit k’libr ’, his high school teacher, will completely change his conception of hip-hop. Later he got acquainted with the slam. He gravitated his first slam scene at the slam corner, an annual slam party organized by the American corner of Fokal and was quickly spotted by the tenors of Haitian slam. Winner of the four paths cultural association’s creative residencies, he has just released a mixtape and is working on a collection of poems.
