Spanish, Amos Lora started playing the guitar at the age of three, under the guidance of his father. He continues his apprenticeship with various professionals including the famous flamenco guitarist Diego Del Morao. At only 19 years old, Lora released his third album “Dadgag” which he composed and interpreted in its entirety, switching from one instrument to another. He is programmed in many festivals in Europe, as is his Cuban sidekick, Luis Guerra, pianist, composer and arranger, who also learned music at an early age in Havana. After a stopover in Canada where Guerra studied counterpoint with Alexander Rapoport and jazz with Barry Harris, he moved to Spain. The young guitarist from Madrid and the Cuban pianist are currently two of the references in flamenco and jazz of this decade, with a long international career. “SOLO 2” is a unique concert, where two exceptional musicians combine their talent to offer a repertoire of flamenco-jazz, mixing their own compositions and classical themes.
Flamenco jazz has a very bright future with this cutting-edge duo, a concert not to be missed under any circumstances!
