Montreal based Singer/Songwriter Dawn Tyler Watson, has earned her place among Canada’s Blues elite. Her fiery stage presence has garnered her national and international recognition. The recipient of three Canadian Maple Blues Awards, nine Quebec Lys Blues Awards, a Screaming Jay Hawkins Award for Best Live Performance, among other accolades. Watson’s style is an eclectic influence of Jazz, Soul, Folk and Gospel that pushes the boundaries of traditional Blues into a whole new dimension. She has ben touring across the globe with her talented 6-piece band, fronted by award winning guitarist Ben Racine, since they took home first place in the esteemed International Blues Competition’s in Memphis in 2017. Watson has just been awarded a Blues Blast Music Award for Female Artist of the Year, and is up for FOUR Maple Blues Awards, including Songwriter of the Year and Best Album for her fifth and latest recording, “Mad Love.”
