Felipe Lamoglia (Cuba/USA)

Felipe Lamoglia is a saxophonist, composer and arranger. Born and educated in Cuba, Felipe went to the Superior Institute of Art in Habana where he studied classical music. He moved to Bresil where he lived for 7 years and absorbed the country’s musical and spiritual wealth. In 1999, Felipe relocated to the United States where he began playing regularly with Arturo Sandoval’s Band, performing all over the world and recording different albums. Along the years, Felipe Lamoglia has shared the stage with musical giants such as Herbie Hancock, Conrad Herwick, Edsel Gomez, Wynton Marsalis and many others, participating in major Jazz festival in United States and Europe.

It’s with an immense pleasure that we are welcoming on Felipe Lamoglia on the Barbancourt stage accompagnied by Mushy Widmaier, Richard Barbot and Johnbern Thomas.
