Luz Acosta (Panama)

Luz Acosta, a mezzo-soprano, jazz singer and Panamanian bassist has a degree in music and singing at the National University of Panama, and then studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. She is currently a singing teacher at the renowned Danilo Perez Foundation, which aims to provide opportunities for young people to develop their full potential and lead productive lives. The values and attitudes that are essential Foundation promotes education and interpretation in music. For her concert at the PAPJAZZ, Luz Acosta will be accompanied by the best jazz musicians from Haiti.
