Melissa Dauphin, women in Jazz
Singer with a velvety and colourful voice, Melissa Dauphin was awarded a scholarship from Berckley College Music in Boston. In 2001, she joined, as a guest, the band of Jacky Ambroise : Strings. She used to collaborate with famous names of music like Réginald Policard, Eric Virgal and Jorge Martinez who won canadian Latin Award for artist of the year 2017. She is passionnate about Jazz and latin music, her musical influences are various : Sade, Ella Fitzgerald or Alejandro Fernandez and Mercedes Sosa.
PAPJAZZ festival is glad to welcom Melissa for the first After-hours of the 12th edition.
