Exceptional pianist, keyboardist and composer from Chile, Oscar Pizarro belongs to the generation of musicians who arrived on the jazz scene in 2010. As a sideman, he has collaborated with several national and international artists such as Angel Parra, Agustin Moya or Quintino Cinalli. His contemporary jazz project Aire Austral debuts in 2016 with the creation of his first original compositions. These musical creations capture influences from modern jazz (Bebop, Hard Bop), Chilean folk and Roots Music, while integrating the musical inspirations of each member of the project, Esteban Fonseca (acoustic bass), Vicente Gonzalez (guitar) and Ronald Baez (drums).
