Gwolobo feat. Amine Rodriguez & Amazan Audoine (Haiti/Dominican Republic)

Gwolobo is a fusion of afrobeat, deephouse, and raratek, a style that integrates traditional voodoo rhythms and electronic music (house, techno, disco, afro, etc.).

On stage, Paul Beaubrun and Kabysh, both singers (raratek, blues, reggae, traditional music), DJs ManitoNation and Kolo (raratek, afrotek, deephouse, pop, konpa, afrobeat) and Ti Tanbou, drummer.

Since its creation in April 2021, Gwolobo has toured in Haiti (Port-au-Prince, Cap-Haïtien, Gonaïves) and in Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo, Santiago).

Amine Rodriguez, Dominican singer and guitarist joins the group, for the bi-national color and the Haitian trumpet player Amazan Audoine, for the jazz touch of this performance that closes the PAPJAZZ in Cape Town!
