Incredible, he is only 19 years old! This is the thought that crosses most minds when they are in the presence of Jakob Manz live for the first time. His music is at the same time so serene, precise and full of groove that, with our eyes closed, we imagine an ensemble that has perfected its playing over the years. There is no doubt that Jakob Manz has absolutely exceptional talent. At the age of 16, he was accepted into the German Federal Jazz Orchestra with which he has performed in the most prestigious concert halls in Europe and North America. In Hannes Stollsteimer, his pianist Manz has found an ally – hardly older and just as talented as him. Together, they realize an exciting vision of a jazz full of spirit and genius. The album “Natural Energy” released in April 2020, has such a maturity of composition that one does not commit too much by predicting a very bright future for Jakob Manz.
