Smooth jazz full of freshness at PAPJAZZ

Young saxophonist Jazmin Ghent is one of the most prominent up-and-coming artists in the smooth jazz scene. She was elected best new smooth jazz artist in 2017 by the Smooth Jazz Network and is the recipient of the prestigious NAACP IMAGE AWARD for her album The Story of Jaz. Jazmin has three Billboard songs, top ranked in the charts, Work With It, Heat and Compared to What. Her most well received hit is Heat which stayed in the Billboard Smooth Jazz charts for 20 weeks. Jazmin has played in several festivals in the United States, Europe and more recently on the Dave Koz cruise in Australia. She has had the privilege to play alongside Norman Brown, Ronie Laws, Julian Vaugh, Nicolas Cole, Lin Roundtree, Jazz in Pink, Mindi Abair, David Sanborn, Marion Meadows and the country artist Keith Urbanpour just to name a few.
