JazzyStars262, founded by talented drummer Woolsbens Bien-Aimé in March 2022 in Cap-Haïtien, brings together young prodigies Wedly Vindy Réveus, Guedelyn Pierre, Kervens Vanel, Samuel Philistin and Rood Stevens Anneau Louis. Together, they offer a spellbinding fusion of blues, jazz and traditional music, sublimating the Haitian musical identity. Training under Professor Claude Carré has forged these young talents, and their captivating jazz is much more than a simple musical performance, it’s an authentic expression of life, a melody that transcends borders and invites everyone to let themselves be carried away by its spellbinding movement. Proud representatives of the Cap Haïtien jazz scene, JazzyStars262 were programmed for the PAPJAZZ 2023 after-hours.
