Last Jerónimo Quintet (Mexico)

A virtuoso on bass and jarana (a type of traditional guitar from southern Mexico), Jerónimo González is one of the most innovative and avant-garde musical producers on the Mexican music scene, fusing jazz with traditional Mexican music and incorporating RnB, Trap and Latin pop”. He studied double bass at the Conservatory of Classical Music of the University of Veracruz, guitar and bass at the Center for Jazz Studies, flamenco music in Barcelona, neuromusicology, ethnomusicology and music production at Berklee College of Music. In addition to his native country, Jerónimo has toured in Chile, Brazil, the United States, Germany, Spain, Israel, Russia and even Haiti, and has many collaborations to his credit. He will be accompanied by pianists Daniel Vadillo Nájera and Agustin Ayala, and Diego Franco on saxophone.
