Tom Teasley – American percussionist specializing in long distance training.

In this interactive workshop, divided into 2 sessions, Tom Teasley successfully merges various rhythmic concepts from around the world. This workshop will highlight drum and skin drum techniques from different cultures, including the Middle East, Far East and India including specific techniques for Djembe, Cajon, Doumbek, shakers, Frame Drums and a variety of tambourines. Also included in this workshop is an interaction between Tom Teasley and traditional drum percussionists from the group Pawòl Tambou as well as a session on the professional (business) side of being a musician. The workshop concludes with a Q&A session.
