Wesli, back to his roots
Singer, guitarist, Wesli began his career collaborating with the groups Jazz4ever and SoKute. His debut album Kouraj won the Babel Med Music Award and was elected 2009 revelation by Radio Canada, which allowed him to collaborate with great names in music such as Tiken Jah Fakoli and My Aïeux. He formed the Wesli Band, which performed on many stages such as the Montreal International Jazz Festival or the Francofolies. His music is a mix of reggae, afroBeat, soul and traditional music.
In 2017, Wesli released his latest album ImmiGrand Deluxe, a hymn to cultural diversity, which he will present on the Barbancourt stage at the PAPJAZZ.
