Founded on June 17, 2021, by Yves Frantz Casseus, AmiJazz (Ayiti Mizik Jazz) is a musical quartet dedicated to promoting traditional Haitian music and original compositions. Led by drummer and maestro Yves Frantz Casseus, the group includes Marven Jean on keyboards, Gabiel Simon on bass, and Lucolson Mensrau Alexis on saxophone.
Since its creation, AmiJazz has participated in several music festivals in Haiti, establishing its presence on the national scene. Committed to showcasing Haiti’s musical heritage through jazz, the group continues to explore new sounds and is currently working on its debut album.
