At 17, Zahia Ziouani dreams of becoming a conductor. Her twin sister, Fettouma, is a professional cellist. Raised on classical symphonic music since childhood, they want to make it accessible to everyone, everywhere. But how can such ambitious dreams be achieved in 1995, when they are women of Algerian descent from Seine-Saint-Denis? With determination, passion, and courage—and above all, the incredible project of creating their own orchestra: Divertimento.

Houston, Texas. Alexandra, Will, and Nate struggle to survive in a city that devours people—just like dreams. Whether an ex-gang leader or disowned rich kids, each faces their demons as a hurricane approaches. Ghost Song is the promise of a new start in life, blending music, hallucinations, and hopes of redemption. This film is part of the ACID cycle, an independent vision of cinema.
